One Month

in approximately 3.5 hours I will be exaclty one month away from the day I leave!! Exciting! Most definetly! Ready! OH YES!

I am currently in the midst of finals time so my brain is about to explode with facts about Paul and archaeology... packing to go home for a few weeks... getting things finished and together for Honduras... ECK!

This is an exciting time and God is at work in my heart already! He is constantly reminding me that I cannot "remember" last summer and the things that frusterated me but that I must remember everything that he taught me from last summer. I have grown so much in Christ since last June and God has done such incredible things in my life. But Satan is there- he is waiting to destroy me and to bring me down.

Please join me in praying for strenght against Satan's lies and deception. Pray for everything to come together and for peace as it does. And of course pray for Honduras and the people of that country!

the time is coming...

The semester is almost over... finals are coming... and Honduras is getting closer. We just had a revial on campus. I was only able to attend one night, but it was amazing! I think things are finally starting to sink in that I will be going to Honduras in about 6 weeks! CRAZY!! I'm so excited and the Lord continues to remind me of all the great things he is going to teach me and do in my life. Continue to pray for everything to come together, for the people, and for Honduras! You are all a blessing in my life!

Sent Out...

Letters, itenary and spread sheet have all gone out. Nothing new is going on. Just getting stuff together- making a Noah's Ark felt board for villiages and the school- going to work on a rainbow here shortly to teach animal and color signs. It's looking good!

Almost time for spring break with a doctors visit for malaria pills and parasite prevention medication. Reading the book Chasing Daylight for the internship- it's needed for UMHB and that's what Robin recommended looks good!

Continue to lift up the trip, preparations, and Honduras!

In the Beginning

Here it is! The blog/web-site/keep up with my adventures in Honduras this summer website! I will be posting information on here prior to my trip as well as prayer request and stories of daily doings once I reach my destination of La Ceiba, Honduras on May 28th!
