MUST come down...
Robin with Tenisha on the handle bars and I rode our bikes up into the jungle this morning before church and swam in the river. It was a crazy ride up on the gravel road. It took us about 35 or 40 mintues to get to the spot we wanted to swim in. My legs were hating me when we got there but the swim was so great and relaxing. We left at 1130 and had to be back at the house and cleaned up by 1230 for deaf church. We only have one shower working at the moment because the water pump went out and the others have not pressure. We BOOKED it home and got back in 25 mintues. My legs and whole body were hating me at this point.
But oh what a wonderful lesson was learned. Life is like riding a bike. Ha! It´s not easy to get to the mountain top times we have to work to get there but what goes up must come down so in life w ewill always expirence the ups and downs and getting back up from being down isn´t going to be very easy. Just like riding that bike up the mountain, we have to work to get to the top. But God will give us the strength to push ourselves up the mountain. When you go down it´s normally not at a fun part in our lives. However, we all know that on a bike we live for the down times. We´ve got to remember that what goes up... must come down... so we can´t always think we´re going to live on the mountain top expirences we must expect to hit a valley. But in life we must live for those down times and know that they will come someday. It´s all about how we live for those downtimes. Just like on a bike when we can see the ride down coming, we should just get as excited and prepared for the down times in life as we do on a bike. During that time riding down we must remember that God is guiding us down the mountain. And just like we feel the breeze against our face on the bike we can feel God´s loving arms around us carrying us through those downtimes.
After church Robin took me to this place she has been telling me about to get a massage. It was AMAZING and cheap so you can´t beat it. Tenisha counted to 100 while we were in there. We left her in the waiting room with the dry erase board and came out and a perfect 1-100 was written out. It was INCREDIBLE! We´ll have to see if she can keep that up!
We had a Honduras hotdog tonight. I had to specify because they are not made like they are in America. They come with a wenie (duh), a roll for a bun, covered with mustard, mayo, and ketchup, then topped with purple onions. I was a little iffy at first but it was really tasty and my girl Teni and I will be eating them again. One side note, they came with orange juice.
Now, I´m finally relaxing. Robin is packing and getting stuff together. It seems nuts that she is leaving already on TUESDAY! Eck! I´m excited for the adventures. Thanks for your continued prayers!
